Features

Students who are die-hard fans of the Apple brand will appreciate a MacBook and the Air MJVM2LL/A model is an excellent example. Weighing 2.38 pounds only it’s one of the most svelte laptops in the market.

Performance

The laptop is equipped with Intel Core i5-520U processor whose maximum frequency speed clocks at 1.6 GHz. Since it’s integrated with the Intel HD Graphics 6000, students can perform various multimedia tasks, including using Adobe Photoshop Creatives.

Storage

The system is equipped with 4GB of RAM, which can be upgraded to 8GB. This is more than enough space if multitasking. It also has 128GB flash storage, enough for day-to-day use, especially if supplemented with an external hard drive or online cloud storage.

Connectivity

The ports are unchanged from the previous MacBook Air. On the left are two microphones, a headset jack, a USB 3.0 port, and a MagSafe 2 Power jack. The other USB 3.0 port is located on the right side along with a Thunderbolt 2 port.

Battery Life

This MacBook touts a cool 11 hours and 33 minutes of battery life, which is pretty reasonable for the average college student given the processing speed and ability to support demanding tasks.
