With a washable filter and a bagless design, this Dirt Devil model is a self-sufficient vacuum cleaner suitable for cleaning tile floors in small apartments.

The extension wand that increases reach by 10 feet stands out. Its 20-foot cord doesn’t allow one to move too far, but it can clean ceilings, walls, and other hard-to-reach spaces with this extension wand.

  • Product number: UD20124
  • Dirt cup capacity: 1.5 liters

Evaluation

The Dirt Devil Endura Reach vacuum cleaner does a pretty great job at deep cleaning carpets and bare floors. However, the 1.5 L dirt cup means it fills up quickly and needs emptying regularly. Also, the short cord restricts it to cleaning small living areas.

The details

Investing in a powerful vacuum cleaner is critical when planning to deep clean spaces. The Dirt Devil Endura Reach came top of my list due to its compact design and handy accessories. What’s more, it has a pretty reasonable price for its features.

Design

I loved its overall design, which made cleaning easier. Its upright design is quite handy when cleaning multiple rooms and for people with back problems because I don’t have to bend.

What’s more, I can use the handle to push, pull and carry the equipment by hand. Similar to other upright vacuums, the vacuum head on this model is pretty big, making it easy to clean vast spaces.

I also loved its bagless construction because the idea of constantly emptying vacuum bags isn’t my cup of tea. There’s less worry about emptying the vacuum cleaner as there’s a clear view of the dirt in the cup, and it snaps out and fits back easily.

Features

The Endura Reach isn’t packed with advanced features, but even the few make cleaning a home a breeze.

The quick-release wand adds ten more feet of cleaning reach to make it easy to clean any mess and hard-to-reach areas.

I also loved the multi-floor brush roll that made it easy to clean different flooring types, including hard floors and carpets at the click of a button.

Ease of use

This Dirt Devil model doesn’t have too many advanced features; hence pretty easy to use.  I was particularly surprised by the amount of dirt this vacuum cleaner removes.

Its 8 motor amp is effective at removing even the tiniest debris on bare floors. The dirt cup and the other attachments are also easy to snap in and out of the vacuum cleaner.

What’s more, the Dirt Devil equips it with a patented Endura Filtration system that ensures the vacuum cleaner deep cleans surfaces without leaving a mess.

While it lacks a height adjustment feature, the removable handle with long reach compensates for this limitation. I could clean vast spaces without moving the equipment too many times, and the 20-foot cord and lightweight design make it easy to maneuver multiple rooms.

Value

Finding a compact and lightweight vacuum cleaner with all the features of this Dirt Devil model meant spending a little more cash.

The fact that it is bagless beats comparable brands hands-down because I can save a whopping $60 on bags. However, this price point means I’d need to compromise on a few features like a short cord.

Final verdict

Overall, the Dirt Devil Endura Reach vacuum cleaner is a great buy for the price. It packs a lot of suction despite its size removing debris and dirt effectively. What’s more, its ability to clean different flooring types without losing suction is a bonus. I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to deep-clean their spaces.
